iScoreBoard Pro — Privacy Policy

iScoreBoard Pro ("the app") is published by Brent Burgin / BWB Designs. We've designed the app to do as little with your data as possible. This page explains exactly what happens.

The short version

• We do not collect any personal information.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.
• We do not have any servers that receive your data.
• The only data the app handles is the score of the game you're playing.

What the app stores

The app stores game state — team names, colors, scores, and an audit log of score changes — locally on your device using Apple's Core Data. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable a sync feature (see below).

Sync features

The app offers two ways to sync game state across multiple devices:

• Local Network Sync (Nearby). Opt-in. Two or more devices on the same Wi-Fi network discover each other using Apple's Bonjour service and exchange score updates directly. The data never leaves your local network. We do not see, receive, or store any of it.
• iCloud Sync. Premium-only. Your scoreboards are stored in your private Apple iCloud database using CloudKit and mirrored across your own devices automatically. Only you can access this data. Apple's CloudKit terms apply. We do not see, receive, or store any of it. You can disable iCloud for the app at the OS level via Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud.

In-app purchases

The app offers a one-time "Premium Unlock" in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We never see your Apple ID, payment method, or transaction details. Apple provides us only an anonymous receipt confirming a valid purchase, which we use to enable premium features on your device.

Permissions the app requests

• Local Network. Used only by the optional Local Network Sync feature, to discover other copies of iScoreBoard Pro on the same Wi-Fi network. We do not access any other device or service on your network.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect any data, so it does not collect data from children. The app is rated 4+.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the effective date above before the change ships in the app.
