Frequently asked questions

How do I add or remove a point?

Tap a team's score area to add a point. Swipe down on a team's score to remove a point. The audit log records every change.

How do I change the rules of the game?

Open the menu and choose Game Settings. You can set:

• Points to win — the target score
• Win margin — how many points ahead the winner must be (e.g. 2 for "win by 2")
• Max points — a hard cap that ends the game even without the win margin

How do I customize team names and colors?

Custom team names and colors are part of the Premium Unlock. After purchasing, choose Edit Team Names or Edit Team Colors from the menu.

How do I sync the score across two phones?

Open Sync Settings and switch the sync mode to Nearby (Multipeer). Both phones need to have iScoreBoard open with Nearby mode on. One phone taps a discovered device in the picker, the other accepts the prompt. Nearby sync is free and works over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth — no internet needed.

If both phones are signed into the same iCloud account (Premium), your own scoreboards also stay in sync across them automatically in the background — no setup required.

How do I score from my Apple Watch?

The Apple Watch app is part of Premium Unlock. After purchasing, install the iScoreBoard Pro Watch app from the Watch app on iPhone. The Watch and iPhone scoreboard stay in sync automatically.

I bought Premium on another device — how do I restore it?

Open the menu and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure the device is signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

How do I see who scored what?

Tap Audit Log from the menu. Every score change is recorded with a timestamp and (for synced games) which device made the change.

How do I clear the audit log?

Open the Audit Log and tap Clear in the top-right.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The full scoreboard, audit log, and game settings work offline. Local Network Sync also works offline (Wi-Fi only). iCloud sync requires an internet connection.
